The missing ingredient to your portraits

It took me..four years of doing photography, stubbornly, before I decided to wise up and practice this skill. Retouching.

When my parents or siblings would ask me to retouch their photos I was too annoyed to see the bright side. “Why on Earth do you think I want to shrink your arms, mom.” I felt like it compromised the integrity of my photos.

As you can see below, you don’t have don’t have to change eye colors or shrink anyone’s waistline, but a little retouching goes a long way. Take a look at my first paid photoshoot and compare to this one I did in November.
